Hosted Services: NPFS & PAS
Children in Scotland's hosted services the National Parent Forum of Scotland and Parenting Across Scotland represent and support parents and families throughout the country.
The Nation Parent Forum of Scotland (NPFS) was set up to give Parent Councils and parents an opportunity to discuss and raise educational issues of mutual interest at a national level.
The Forum works in partnership with national and local government and other organisations involved in education and wellbeing issues to represent parents.
It does this with the aim of helping every pupil maximise their potential.
Parenting Across Scotland
Parenting Across Scotland is a partnership of charities offering support to children and families in Scotland.
It focuses on parenting issues to help realise its vision of "a Scotland where all parents and families are valued and supported to give children the best possible start in life".
Parenting Across Scotland provides support for parents and families through an information service and partners' helplines.
It identifies what matters to parents and families and what they need, and communicates this to politicians.
