My Perfect Place is a national art competition organised by Children in Scotland as part of Making Space 2010, a programme of events focusing on the importance of creating innovative and inspiring environments in which children can learn and live.

The competition was launched in April 2010 and entries were invited from children and young people aged up to 18, in the form of painting, collage, drawing or photography.

The children and young people were also asked to submit a short written piece to accompany their artwork.

The winners of My Perfect Place were exhibited by Architecture+Design Scotland at The Lighthouse, Mitchell Lane, Glasgow until January 2011

They are currently being exhibited at the Children in Scotland Head Office in Edinburgh. if you are interested in viewing the entries please contact Hannah by email.
