16 September 2010, Balbirnie House Hotel, Markinch, Fife
Outdoor play: children's health and well-being Research shows that children who play outside are more curious and physically healthier. They also have a greater sense of independence, enhanced self-esteem and enjoy more opportunities to develop relationships. This conference will explore the many benefits which playing outside can bring and will examine different models and approaches to encouraging outdoor play, as well as looking at examples of best practice and innovation.
