Chaired by Tam Baillie, Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People, this important conference will feature children’s rights expert Dr Kay Tisdall, Professor of Childhood Policy at the University of Edinburgh; Helen Penn, Professor of Early Childhood at the University of East London; Gianfranco Zavalloni, representative for schools, Italian Consulate in Belo Horizonte, Brasil, who will speak about his Children’s natural rights manifesto, and Dr Afua Twum-Danso, Lecturer in the Sociology of Childhood at Sheffield University, who has completed research on Children's rights in Ghana.
