Freelance trainers wanted

Children in Scotland is seeking self employed freelance trainers to deliver quality specialised training across Scotland. Specific areas of interest include services for fathers, additional support needs and integrated children’s services, but if you have experience delivering training on any area relating to children and young people, we would like to hear from you.

Salary £23,010 per annum

The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly 5 days over 7 to meet the demands of the service, involving regular weekend and evening work.  The geographical location of the role will cover the West Services, mainly in Glasgow and surrounding areas.

The role requires working out in the community with Young People and their families to deliver the professional intensive support service in line with the Support Plan objectives and role demands in line with the operational standards.  You must use your theoretical knowledge and apply our ‘A Better Life’ toolkit to support the Young People and fulfil the case management responsibilities.  You will also produce written reports and record front-line activity using Includem’s Information System to evidence outcomes and work undertaken in relation to Support Plan objectives.

Assistant Project Workers are flexible and committed workers, providing professional intensive support and using our ‘A Better Life' toolkit with Young People who place themselves at risk and are often excluded from the community.  This will also involve working with colleagues, external partners and other agencies to build professional relationships enabling the best service provision to Young People. 

You must also be able to produce written reports and record front-line activity using Includem’s Information System to evidence on outcomes on the work undertaken to support and inform the Team Manager of progress in terms of Care Plan objectives.
