£29,445 - £35,382 per annum

Location: Edinburgh, with the possibility of some home working.

The successful applicant will lead on generating significant income from Grants, Trusts, Foundations and Statutory Bodies to contribute to Children in Scotland’s overarching vision of making Scotland a world leader in achieving the wellbeing of every child and improving the quality of every childhood.

Freelance trainers wanted

Children in Scotland is seeking self employed freelance trainers to deliver quality specialised training across Scotland. Specific areas of interest include services for fathers, additional support needs and integrated children’s services, but if you have experience delivering training on any area relating to children and young people, we would like to hear from you.

Donaldson's School

Salary: £65k-70k with placement dependent on experience


Donaldson's is a grant aided residential and day special school for children and young people who are deaf, hearing impaired and/or have communication disorders. Although the children and young people have a wide range of abilities, some pupils and students also have a range of complex additional support needs which can act as barriers to learning.

The school provides a fusion of education and care across 24 hours for children and young people from 2.5 to 18 years, 39 weeks of the year. There is also excellent nursery provision and an externally funded, adult employability project for young adults up to the age of 24 years.

Over the last year, the school has gone through a period of change and is now seeking a dynamic and successful leader to take the school forward and to help shape its future direction.
