We work with young people aged 16 - 25 who are unemployed to help them move towards further education training or employment. We work on a one to one basis throughout the Scottish Borders looking at basic and core skills. We develop the young peoples self-esteem confidence and motivation by encouraging interests and skills using the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme framework and voluntary work placements.

To facilitate and empower the participation of young people in local decision-making processes. This includes a unique partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Councils Community Development Team and the private sector to improve and target youth facilities and activities in line with local needs and aspirations. A major peer consultation project is about to begin with an emphasis on capacity building to develop the data skills and commitment to enable achievement of project goals.
