Children’s Services Steering Group
This national steering group has been set up primarily to improve the framework and operations of children’s services as they respond to children’s needs. Its aim is to maintain a strategic oversight of the delivery of national policy, particularly ‘Getting It Right for Every Child’ and Child Protection.

The Group met on the 8th December, and is expected to meet next on Wednesday 7 March.

Maggie Mellon from CHILDREN 1ST and Janet Law from the Scottish Out of School Care Network have been selected to represent the children’s sector -- and Children in Scotland will provide communications support to them. Regular updates will be sent to members of Children in Scotland.
