National Domestic Abuse Delivery Group
This national steering group was set up to find out how best to deal
with the issues of children and young people who have experienced or
witnessed domestic abuse. The remit is to create a three-year delivery
plan, to monitor the Pathfinder projects and to report to Ministers on
how the agencies and organisations involved at the local or national
levels can work together to achieve better outcomes for these children
and young people.
The Group’s inaugural meeting was held on 5 December 2006. It is scheduled to meet again on 5 February 2007. Children in Scotland will be representing our membership. As a national intermediary organisation, Children in Scotland will maintain communication between the group and the children’s sector. If you have any comments, or require further information, then please contact Donna Patterson at dpatterson@childreninscotland.org.uk or 0131 222 2440.
