Cross-Party Group on Children and Young People The Cross-Party Group on Children and Young People seeks to ensure that issues affecting children and young people are recognised and discussed throughout the workings of the Scottish Parliament, in order to ensure that the needs and rights of children and young people are met throughout Scotland. The Cross-Party Group on Children and Young People has re-registered for the new Parliamentary session and has appointed new convenors. Members of the group will need to re-subsrcibe for the next session. Next meeting
March meeting overview: The most recent meeting of the cross-party group on children and young people was held on 22 March 2007. The meeting was chaired by Scott Barrie MSP and Raj Joshi MSYP. Members of the group heard a series of short presentations on speech and language therapy, young carers, epilepsy, the Nancy Ovens Trust and creativity.
