This course is suitable for any workers who want to help the children and young people in their care to cope with the challenges of their weight issues

1.1 million people in the UK are directly affected by an eating disorder, and anorexia is the leading cause of mental health related deaths. This condition mostly develops during the teenage years. At the same time existing high levels of childhood obesity are increasing in the western world. One third of children and young people are overweight or obese and this is estimated to double by 2050.
