This training workshop examines the roles and responsibilities of designated persons within the context of national policies and frameworks, such as GIRFEC and the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014.

Facilitator bio

Campbell Bell has worked within children and families and youth work as a practitioner, planner and trainer in both the public and voluntary sectors for the past 30 years.  He is a qualified social worker, has a degree in Theology and qualifications in training and residential care. Campbell has provided training to a wide range of individuals and agencies including social work, education and early years staff and groups in the arts and leisure industry. Campbell has been providing child protection training for the past ten years.
